There are lots of things that money can’t buy. One of them is a good reputation. Regardless of the environment you live in, a life of faith leads to a good reputation. Even in the most evil and vile of societies, when you lead a life obedient to God, through faith, no one will be able to convict you of an offensive behavior. Your reputation is developed through living a life of faith. God rewards your faithfulness by helping you live by His principles, which always treats others with dignity and respect. If establishing a good reputation is important to you, ask God to help you develop a humble and serving heart. You will then see the reward of a good reputation take hold. It starts with faith.
39 All these people earned a good reputation because of their faith, yet none of them received all that God had promised. 40 For God had something better in mind for us, so that they would not reach perfection without us.
