It’s hard to grasp the concept of a one-time, once-and-for-all act that saves pre-event, current, and post-event people. When Jesus died on the cross, He rescued people who had already died, who lived on credit, the current people living at that time, and those of us not yet born, who live by debit. Of course those of us who are alive today, have the Bible to reveal truth and understanding, but it still blows my mind how the God of the Bible came up with such a plan to rescue people, past, present, and future. It’s the most brilliant designed plan anyone could ever dream up. It’s what makes the Good News, Good News. We must tell it to our children, then our grand children. And they must tell it to their children and grand children. It’s how God designed it. It’s the perfect plan that will keep producing disciples until God ushers in Eternity. We must praise Him for being Sovereign, and sharing it with us.
31 His righteous acts will be told to those not yet born. They will hear about everything He has done.
Psalms 22:31
