They say a "good name” goes far. Integrity has no holidays. When your name is tarnished by some split-second, thoughtless act, it can take a lifetime to rebuild it. As the saying goes, it takes a long time to establish a good name, and only a second to ruin it. Set a goal today to establish a good name for yourself. When people think of you it should bring joy to their hearts. If you’ve tarnished your name, then make a plan to make it right. God has a way of restoring what the locusts have eaten. Regardless what society says about truth, a good name will take you far in this life. And it guarantees a good night sleep to those who walk its path.
7 We have happy memories of the godly, but the name of a wicked person rots away.
